Last week, we had informed you that Aamir Khan has decided to dedicate the next decade of his career to a specific project which will be a series of movies that will form a franchise. So the big project, and indeed it is a big one, is Mahabharat. Khan intends to finish the shoot of Thugs of Hindostan and dive into the story of the magnum opus mythological tale.

Apparently, Khan wants to be involved in all stages of the development for this and will produce and eventually direct as well. The first movie of this series of movies will be directed by Advait Chandan (director of Secret Superstar). We have also heard that Khan will be acting in these films and he wants to play the role of Krishna, even though Karan remains his favourite character. Now the wait is only to see what the rest of the cast looks like and when does Khan go on floor with this.
