Aditya Kripalani’s Tikli And Laxmi Bomb In Film Festivals

Author-turned-director Aditya Kripalani’s latest outing Tikli And Laxmi Bomb is doing the festival rounds currently. Kripalani not only wrote the book with the same title but also penned other books like Backseat and Frontseat. Now, the movie Tikli And Laxmi Bomb, adapted from the book is receiving rave reviews at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival as well Kolkata International Film Festival. The movie is also the only Indian film at the New Zealand Asia Pacific Film Festival.

Starring Vibhawari Deshpande and Chitrangada Chakraborty, Suchitra Pillai, Upendra Limaye and Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Tikli And Laxmi Bomb talks about gender inequality amongst prostitutes and a few of them fight the system.
