AK Replaces AK

arjun-kapoor_1434694492200Ever since sequels started to prove fruitful at the box office, we’ve been hearing about a second instalment to the 2007 hit film Namastey London starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

In fact, director Vipul Amrutlal Shah had even announced a film titled Namastey England in association with KriArj Entertainment back in 2015. Finally, the makers have set the ball rolling on this project, but with a slight change.

While, Akshay Kumar was to initially play the lead, we hear that the makers have roped in Arjun Kapoor for the title role, and the yet untitled film will be produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s production company Sunshine Pictures in collaboration with Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment. It is all set to go on the floors early next February.
