Big B Is Back

After lying low for a while, the Shehenshah of the Indian film industry returned to the small screen yesterday, with Kaun Banega Crorepati 6 (KBC), and it goes without saying that the show was a thumping success. Though we’ve had to wait a while before we got to watch Big B in action again, the superstar will return to the big screen too.

Sooner, not later, Amitabh Bachchan will start shooting for Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha, which goes on floors early 2013. Along with this film, he has another one lined up – Mehrunissa, helmed by Sudhir Mishra, Here, Bachchan will be sharing the screen with Rishi Kapoor.

That’s not the end for the man with boundless energy. Bachchan will also be part of R Balki’s next, to be followed by Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next, Kaala Sona, being produced by Ekta Kapoor. It will also feature Abhishek Bachchan in the lead and this film is expected to go on floors in mid-2013. Welcome back, Sir!
