Chandan Roy Sanyal is all set to make his directorial debut on the big screen next year. While acting will always remain his first love, Chandan has set out to direct his first feature film, RSVP. He has directed short-films in the recent past like 35MM, Hiroshima, Elementa and Azaad.
The film is about a son who exacts revenge from his father. It’s an absurd comedy of lust, love, revenge, treachery and power.
The film will be shot entirely in Sri Lanka in March and April next year and will feature actors Tannishtha Chatterjee and Anshuman Jha in lead roles. Chandan will be seen as an actor next in Manto, Captain Nawab, Dheet Patangey and The Flight.
