Guess Who?

In an industry like ours, can you blame filmmakers for getting carried away? The thing is, when a certain kind of film works for a director, he or she usually continues to work within that genre. But not every film they make turns to gold.

This is the tale of one such Bollywood director whose last dark and gritty outing got him accolades. His film, which released only after a huge battle with the censors, was appreciated so much that two big actors actually approached the director and expressed their eagerness to work with him on his next film.

Now our director saab wanted to make an even darker and grittier film than his previous one and presented his subject to the two biggies who were eager to work him. However, the subject was too dark for one of the actors, who lost interest in the film. The other star too didn’t find the subject appealing and he finally has a fun film releasing after a long time. Obviously, both actors backed out.

The director then approached the new chocolate boy of B-Town, who has within a very short span acquired the tag of a ‘thinking actor’ and is currently on a space adventure. The actor instantly fell in love with the subject and agreed to do the film.
