There’s this experienced producer (We’re not sure ‘experienced’ is the right word even though he’s been around for many years) whose movie recently tanked. No one in the industry had any faith in this movie, not when the movie was announced, not even when the trailer released.
Back to the point… even though footfalls nosedived after the first few shows and the audience started to run away even from this movie’s poster, the producer kept waiting for it to pick up – his own people were telling him that the word-of-mouth publicity was good and that collections would grow.
When multiplexes decided to decrease the number of shows, this producer started yelling at his distribution head and asked him to increase the number of shows. The poor distribution head was scratching his head, up until till this magazine went to press.
Last heard: The producer is still calling his distribution head and asking him to increase the number of shows.
