Kangana’s South Connection

2

Kangana Ranaut appears to be distancing herself from Bollywood, slowly but steadily. It is common knowledge that the actress’ next film Manikarnika – Queen Of Jhansi is being directed by Krish, who is a Telugu filmmaker. And after she completes this ambitious project, Ranaut’s next movie will also be with a renowned South director.

The actress will be working with Prakash Rao Kovelamudi, who is an actor, screenwriter and director from the Telugu industry. Son of the late filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, Kovelamudi’s film, starring Ranaut, has been written by his wife, author and screenwriter Kanika Dhillon. Dhillon had also written for the Bollywood film Ra.One. This upcoming film is a thriller and will be produced by Shailesh Singh, who had also made Ranaut’s Simran.

We will have to wait to see where this South connection of Miss Ranaut leads.
