NFDC Film Bazaar 2016 Unveils

The 10th edition of Film Bazaar, organised by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) has announced the seven projects selected for its Work-In-Progress Lab 2016. The projects are Bombay Rose, directed by Gitanjali Rao (Hindi); In The Shadows directed by Dipesh Jain (Hindi/English); Nimmo directed by Rahul Shanklya (Hindi) and produced by Anand L Rai; Once Again directed by Kanwal Sethi (Hindi); The Bioscopewala directed by Deb Medhekar (Hindi/Bengali/English/Dari); The Gold-Laden Sheep & The Sacred Mountain directed by Ridham Janve (Pahadi); and Pratibhasam (The Tetrahedron) directed by Vipin Vijay (Malayalam). The projects were selected from 58 entries received this year. Interestingly, five of the seven are by debutant directors. The WIP Lab is an editing lab, which gives an opportunity to filmmakers to present their projects in a rough-cut stage to a panel of international film experts (mentors) for their feedback to reach and accomplish the final cut.
