Pappu Of JTYJN Turns Director

Shakun Batra, who makes his debut as a director with Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, was once an actor. Aha! We bet you’re surprised. So here’s the plain truth. Batra, who was an assistant director for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa, was ‘Pappu’ in the song ‘Pappu Can’t Dance Salla’.

Not surprisingly, when we spoke to Batra during the launch of the first look of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, he smiled and refused to answer! Imran Khan laughed and couldn’t help adding that Batra also played the panwallah in ‘Khayike Paan Banaras Waala’ in Farhan Akhtar’s Don.
