What’s It All About?

This is the 22nd edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival, which focuses on South-East Europe, putting the spotlight on the talent, films and future projects from this region. The upcoming edition of the festival is also a great networking platform for the youth and media representatives and serves high quality programming, a strong industry segment and education.

Sonita

This documentary is about Sonita, a young Afghani refugee in Iran. The film is about her frustrations and how she seizes her destiny through music after her family tries to sell her into a marriage. Directed by Rokhsareh Ghaemmaghami, it features Sonita Alizadeh and Ghaemmaghami.

Ghuspaithia is Gurvinder Singh’s directorial and a part of an omnibus titled In The Same Garden. It will be screened in the Out Of Competition section of the festival.
