The Yoodlee Way

06Following Saregama’s label Yoodlee Films launching its brand teaser, with a peek into the films it is currently backing, there is talk at high-profile studios discussing to follow suit.

Yoodlee Films, which is committed to backing content-led films, recently announced that it would be releasing a film a month and has already finished producing films like Devashish Makhija’s Ajji, Samit Kakad’s Ascharya Chuckit, Vandana Kataria’s Noblemen and the soon-to-be released Brij Mohan Amar Rahe by Nikhil Bhat. The company is also producing Onir’s Kuch Bheege Alfaaz, among other films.

The rumour mill has it that a studio that has just delivered a hit film and a production house that has backed major star-led films are both considering making this move. Meetings are underway at the offices of both the production houses to decide on the course of action. Watch this space for more developments.
