VDW To Roll Out Soon

Kareena KapoorAnother film caught in a web of speculation ever since it was announced is the all-girl gang film, Veere Di Wedding starring Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. The film was announced back in 2016 before the release of Kareena Kapoor’s Udta Punjab.

However, when Bebo Begum got pregnant, there were rumours that she would not be a part of the film but the makers said they wouldn’t make the film without Kareena and postponed the movie.

Then, more recently, the rumour mill was abuzz again with speculation that the film had been shelved. But that’s definitely not true. We are, after all, going to see these three powerful women actors together onscreen and the film will go on the floors in a couple of months.

What’s more, the film will now have three producers – Anil Kapoor’s AK Films, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron Broadcasters.
