Will Sonu Sood Play Pran?

Last week, we broke the news that Arjun Rampal had walked out of Reliance Entertainment’s Zanjeer remake. Well, now news is that the corporate house has decided to sign Sonu Sood. The role in question was played by Pran in the original.

Since the film is bi-lingual and is also being made in Telugu, everyone associated with the project felt that Sood, who is a known name in the South, will be apt for a project that is launching Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja.

We’re told that Sood is currently reading the script and is yet to say ‘yes’. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan has also been approached by director Apoorva Lakhia to play a pivotal role in the film. Watch this space!
