The trailer of Akshaye Khanna’s upcoming film Section 375 released today. The actor has been in the Hindi film industry since more than two decades and has been part of many films that we fondly remember even today. One such film is 1999 release Taal, directed by Subhash Ghai. In the film Khanna was seen along with Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in the lead.
Released on August 13, 1999, Taal completes 20 years today. This musical romantic drama was among the top five grossers of the year and was later dubbed in the Tamil language as Thaalam. Taal was the first Indian film to get included in the top 20 films on Variety’s box office list. The film churned out approximately Rs 16 crore at the box office. However, you will be surprised to know that the current worth of the film in the year 2019 is more than Rs 120 crore at the box office.
