3 Reasons to watch Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Akkineni's Seemaraja

After the hit Velaikkaran in 2017, Seemaraja is Sivakarthikeyan's first and only release in 2018. The actor will be seen opposite Samantha Akkineni for the first time in this comedy-action-drama directed by Ponram. The trailer and D Imman's music of the film has been well received and it is expected to have a very good opening at the box office, especially since it is releasing on Vinayaga Chaturthi (September 13).

A holiday is the perfect reason to watch a film with family and friends. And if that is not reason enough, we give you three more reasons to watch the film.

1. Sivakarthikeyan has always impressed with every film that he has been a part of. His rise from a TV host to one of the most popular actors in Kollywood today, makes him a favourite among the youth. With Seemaraja he delivers an out-an-out commercial entertainer, at least that’s what the trailer showcases. The film has loads of action, comedy, romance and drama.

2. Samantha has quite an interesting line up this week. She will be seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual U-Turn which is a thriller. But if you want to watch the actress in a romantic avatar, then this is the film you would want to watch. This is also the first time that the actress is cast opposite Sivakarthikeyan. With back to back hits like Nadigayir Thilagam and Irumbu Thirai, you would definitely not want to miss a film that has Samantha in it.

3. If you have seen the trailer, you will see that there is an amazing supporting cast in the film. Soori's comedic connection with Sivakarthikeyan is expected to be a laugh riot. And then there is Simran. The actress continues to surprise us with her roles and films. She seems to be playing a rather bold and strong woman in the film, that is what the trailer shows.
