Aakrandan first look poster: Sharad Ponkshe and Upendra Limaye's social drama looks intriguing - view pic

Often, a woman is seen as a benefactor in society. The incidence of sexual assault is increasing in our country day by day. After realizing the reality and after getting a sense of responsibilty, the first glimpse of the Marathi film Akrandan was published by the Union Minister of Social Justice, Ramdas Athavale. Directors Rajkumar Santoshi, Al Haj Hazrat Zahid Hussain Chishti and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Akrandan will be released on September 7.

Union Minister for Social Justice, Ramdas Athavale congratulated the makers on making a film on the sensitive issue and breaking the reality to the whole society through the film. Presented by Vivek Pandit and produced by Govind Aher, Aakrandan showcases the incident of atrocities against a poor helpless woman and what follows after the incident. Vikram Gokhale, Smita Talwalkar, Amita Khopkar, Pradeep Velankar, Uday Tikekar, Bharat Ganeshapure, Tejashri Pradhan, Vilas Ujwana, Pallavi Wagh, Sneha Biranje together with Upendra Limaye, Sharad Ponkshe, Milind Inamdar, Ganesh Yadav, Baby Dhuri are a part of the movie. The story of the film is written by director Shashikant Deshpande along with Milind Inamdar. The photography is done by the famous cinematographer Damodar Naidu, while Manoj Sankala has a compilation. Pen and Camera International is releasing this movie. Aakrandan will be released on September 07 everywhere.
