Netflix is coming up with its next Indian original titled Chopsticks. The film stars Abhay Deol, Mithila Palkar and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. Recently, Abhay took to Instagram to announce the release date of the film which was followed by Netflix’s surprise of the teaser release. You can check out the post here.
According to the teaser, the story revolves around the character Nirma, a translator for Chinese tourists who is excited to take her new car out for a spin in Mumbai. When the vehicle is stolen, she turns to a con man/artiste played by Abhay Deol, for help.
Recently, Netflix India has shared the look of the film Chopsticks with the caption, "Get ready for a wild goat chase. Chopsticks premiere 31st May, only on Netflix. @viniyardfilms". The poster shows Abhay Deol opening the locker and Mithila Palkar holding a broken car steering with the confused look. It also has a goat at the side and in the poster, it is written as, "Shit just goal real."

The film is directed by Sachin Yardi, who has to his credit films like C Kkompany (2008) and Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012). It is slated to release on May 31.
Mithila Palkar was seen in the web-series Little Things and Girl In The City and her debut film Karwaan. While Deol was last seen in a cameo performance in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero and the film Nanu Ki Jaanu.
