Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, who was fondly known as "Masterji", died early this morning. She was admitted to Mumbai's Guru Nanak Hospital on June 20 after complaining of difficulty in breathing and died of cardiac arrest. She was 71.
The three-time National Award winner had choreographed some of the most famous songs and has always thaught celebs how to dance with their facial expressions on. Saroj Khan was one of the best choreographers in Hindi cinema.
Confirming the news, Khan's nephew Manish Jagwani told news agency PTI and said that, "She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2:30 am at the hospital,"
"Her last rites are over. I just attended and got back," choreographer Remo D'Souza told to News channel.
