Lust Stories, an anthology of four short films released on June 15 on Netflix. It went to get a lot of appreciation. It brought together four dynamic directors Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar.
Zoya Akhtar's segment featured Bhumi Pednekar and Neil Bhoopalam. The story showcased the lustful chemistry between a maid and her master and it Zoya was applauded for this film.
On the first anniversary of Lust Stories, Zoya Akhtar took to Instagram and posted a picture featuring the four women of the anthology film. With the picture, she also posted about her next venture, Ghost Stories.

Zoya Akhtar's last release was Gully Boy. The film inspired by the lives of Indian street rappers Divine and Naezy, starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi. In the web space, Akhtar was involved with the Amazon Prime series Made In Heaven.
