Amitabh Bachchan has always lent a helping hand to the deserving, especially in recent years he has worked a lot for farmers. He recently paid off the loan of 2,100 farmers in Bihar. Now he has taken up another cause for people in Uttar Pradesh. The veteran actor has launched a 'See Now' campaign to help end avoidable blindness.
The campaign will spread awareness about avoiding blindness and encourage regular eye check ups. The focus will be in five districts in Uttar Pradesh - Unnao, Lucknow, Raebareli, Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur. The program aims at providing information on eye health, services in these districts that provide eye health care and how can the citizens get them.
Check out Amitabh Bachchan's tweet with the video where he talks about the importance of eye care.
