Annup Sonii who became the face of Crime Patrol, the crime anthology series on Sony Entertainment Television India, is a household name today. The actor hosted season two, three and four of the episodic series. In March 2018, he decided to quit the show because he wanted to try his hands at films and other television shows. But here’s the twist.
He will be seen in a brand new avatar. The actor will be sporting a beard. He recently shot for the promo of Crime Patrol, which will soon start airing on Sony TV. Talking about his returns, he said, “I was associated with the show for seven years before I decided to take a break and focus on my other projects. It feels great to be a part of the show again after 15 months.”
Anuup added, “There is a thin line between a normal person and a criminal mind. It just depends on the thought, how an attempt to pull the other person down is erroneous but thinking to rise above the other person through one’s own efforts is perfectly okay.”
In the past, he has been part of some popular television soaps such as Balika Vadhu, Shanti and Sea Hawks. Annup will also be seen in Prasthanam that will hit the screens on September 20, 2019, a Netflix Original and a web series helmed by the makers of Baahubali.
