The John Abraham-starrer Batla House is releasing tomorrow. It's been 16 years for the actor in the Hindi film industry after he debuted in 2003 with the Amit Saxena directorial Jism. Abraham has been a part of more than 40 films so far out of which he came up with 17 films in the past decade itself.
Abraham's highest grosser in the past decade was 2012 multi-starrer Housefull 2. The film collected Rs 109 crore at the box office. Apart from that, his films like Race 2(2013), Welcome Back (2015) and Satyameva Jayate (2018) also gained massive success at the box office with Rs 96.40 crore, Rs 93.86 crore and Rs 76.74 crore respectively. His least grossing film in the past decade was 2010 Aashayein, which earned Rs 2.21 crore in its lifetime.
As per the table below, from 2010 to 2019, every film of Abraham on an average grosses Rs 47.12 crore in its lifetime. On day one, weekend one and week one, his films earn Rs 7.28 crore, Rs 23.81 crore and Rs 34.77 crore on an average respectively.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House is a film inspired from the 2008 Batla House encounter case that took place in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. The film features Mrunal Thakur and Nora Fatehi along with Abraham in the lead.
