Ayushmann Khurrana's Article 15, that released on June 28, 2019, has been rock-steady at the box office during weekdays. The film garnered Rs 28.75 crore in six days. Article 15, within six days, surpassed the lifetime business of Khurrana's Dum Laga Ke Haisha, released in 2015, that collected Rs 28.62 crore.
If we refer to the table below, Article 15 minted Rs 44.66 crore on its day one. It jumped by 45.49 per cent on day two and further jumped a 6.49 per cent on day three. As far as weekdays are concerned, the film hardly saw any fluctuation between the numbers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This stability of the film at the box office is the result of good reports and very strong word-of-mouth of the film.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 is a crime drama, inspired by several real life incidents which include the Badaun Rape Case of 2014 among others. The film's main focus is on the Article 15 of the Indian Constitution that outlaws the discrimination on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
