Rhea Chakraborty was reported to have making her Kollywood debut with Sanjay Bharathi’s Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae which stars Harish Kalyan in the lead role. But now, from what we have heard, that the actress will not be a part of the project due to her busy schedules and has been replaced by yet another Bollywood actress, Digangana Suryavanshi. It will be her debut in the Tamil industry.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Sanjay confirming the news said, “We started shooting with Harish and the rest of the cast a few months ago, and both Rhea and Reba Monica John were supposed to join the team sometime in June. But we weren’t able to work out continuous dates with Rhea because she was also busy with her Bollywood films. Harish, too, had other commitments. So, we spoke to Rhea and her team and mutually decided to part ways.”
Soon after that, the director approach Digangana for the lead female role. Talking about her role, Digangana said to the daily, “I spoke to Sanjay over the phone and I liked my characterisation. I’ll be playing the lead in this film, and will begin shooting in Chennai from this week.”
