The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is on full swing, fans can't wait to see the two on screen. The duo was shooting in Varanasi from past few days when the shoot came to an abrupt halt due to Alia Bhatt.
Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy were also part of the Varanasi schedule. Before completing the shoot, both the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt returned yesterday abruptly.
As per the reports of a leading daily, the two had to shoot for a song in the next three days. But Alia fell ill due to a stamach bug which only became worse due to the extreme summer heat. Thought she tried to continue with the shoot, director Ayan Mukerji decided to call it off and let her rest. The Brahmastra duo is expected to shoto for the song in Varanasi in November.
Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. Brahmastra is being produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Namit Malhotra under the banner of Dharma Productions. It is slated for a summer 2020 release.
