Now every filmmaker in our industry dreams of working with music maestro A R Rahman at least once. However, the hitch to sign Rahman is you have to shift to Chennai during music sittings.
But here’s some cheer for our hopeful producers. A R Rahman recently bought a house in Powai, a suburb of Mumbai, and plans to convert it into a music studio. So no more jetting it to Chennai.
Right now, Rahman is busy working on the background score of Raavan. And whenever his friend-cum-mentor Mani Ratnam is in town, Rahman’s Powai abode is where he lives.
