The recent release De De Pyaar De starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, has received a lot of appreciation from the audience. The film took a slow start but it picked up eventually. Exhibitors and distributors across India talk about the strong word-of-mouth surrounding the film and their expectations as far as the trade is concerned.

The Ajay Devgn-starrer is doing very well at the box office. We are expecting a 50-per cent jump in the film today vis-à-vis yesterday’s collections. Yesterday, the film started slow but it picked up very well by evening. Yesterday, we had 1 lakh admits and we are expecting 1.5 lakh admits today. The reviews are very good. People really like the film and they are appreciating the direction and the performances. The film is likely to earn Rs 15 crore pan-India today.

De De Pyaar De saw good footfalls in multiplexes yesterday. The film will surely do better at multiplexes today, especially during the afternoon, evening and night shows. Yesterday, it collected Rs 14 lakh in my circuit and today it is likely to churn out Rs 17-18 lakh here. Across India, the film will earn Rs 12-14 crore today.

The Ajay Devgn-starrer is getting good reports from people. It is running well at multiplexes here. Exactly how much it will pick up at the box office today I can only tell this by the evening. This is a family film which will mostly run in multiplexes and it will gain momentum in the evening and night shows. The film is good and everybody is appreciating it but how much it will help the film to grow at the box office can be gauged only after the night shows.

The film is doing well here and we are getting amazing reports from people. The elections might affect the film’s numbers a little tomorrow. But everyone coming out of cinemas is saying that it is an excellent film. Till now, the reviews have not converted into sales but I am sure it will pick up in the next two days. Yesterday, the film collected Rs 10 crore pan-India and looking at the trend in multiplexes, I think it will earn Rs 13-14 crore today.

The opening of De De Pyaar De was not very good but it picked up in the evening yesterday. The evening shows’ occupancy was double the occupancy during the opening. The reports are very good and the film has done decently well at the box office. The weekend will prove to be good for this film, whose collections will see a jump of 30 per cent today. It will earn Rs 13-14 crore.
