Ayushmann Khurrana is having a dream run in the world of films. He is one actor who is doing a wide variety of roles, be it comic, intense, quirky or even gay! Now, he is busy with his film Article 15, which is set to release on June 28. It is a story that tackles the caste divide in rural India. Ahead of the film's release, the actor has been talking about the film, his personal life, his upcoming projects and more. He recently said in an interview to a leading tabloid that Article 15 is for casteism what Anubhav Sinha's Mulk was for Hindu-Muslims. The shoot conditions were quite cumbersome as they had to shoot in muck infested with leeches and water snakes for three days. Talking of taking it up after the success of AndhaDhun, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Badhaai Ho, Khurrana says that it was his courage that did it and that Article 15 is a commercial film with a sense of social responsibility.
Talking about his personal life, he says that his wife Tahira Kashyap might have felt that he did not give up on their marriage even when she did is because he doesn't give up easily on his relationships and maintains them as they stay forever, more than material things. He also plans to slow down by taking up only two films starting next year as he wants to also devote time to his kids.
Apart from Article 15, Ayushmann has an interesting line-up of films with Dream Girl, Gulabo Sitabo, Bala and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan among others.
