When two renowned filmmakers come together, they are bound to give the audience something to look forward to. And that is what will happen with the collaboration of Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty. The two are all set to remake Amitabh Bachchan’s 1982 comedy hit, Satte Pe Satta.
A lot of names were associated with the film including that of superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was rumoured to step into the shoes of Big B. But from what we hear now, Hrithik Roshan has been approached for the role by the makers. Word is that Roshan will be seen in the film with Deepika Padukone who will play Hema Malini’s role in the remake.
Sources say that Deepika green lighted the project right after hearing the script narrated by Farah who might also direct the film. If this speculation does turn out to be true then the audience will see Deepika and Hrithik sharing screen space for the first time.
Apart from this, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for his release this week with the film Super 30 while Deepika Padukone has just finished her Meghna Gulzar directorial Chhapaak and is currently shooting for her special appearance with hubby Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s 83.
