Dhanush's Fakir act in Hongkong

Dhanush-starrer The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir seems to be enjoying quite an extraordinary journey. The film released in Hongkong last week and has had a good reception at the box office. This is despite the fact that there have been some amazing films that released at the same time; Call Me By Your Name and Ghostland.

Not just in Honkong, this Dhanush starrer has been well received in China Mainland as well. The film is based on the novel of  The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir who got trapped in an IKEA wardrobe by Romain Puertolas.

Directed by Ken Scott, the film also stars Berenice Bejo (Academy Award Nominee, The Artist), Erin Moriarty (Blood Father), Barkhad Abdi (Academy Award Nominee, Captain Philips) and French actor Gerard Jugnot. The film is produced by Brio Films, Vamonos Films, M! Capital Ventures, Little Red Car Films, Impact Films and Scope Pictures and co-produced by TF1 Studio and Aleph Motion Pictures.
