What’s It All About?

The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) is the leading film festival in the UAE region. Since its inception in 2004, the festival has served as an influential platform for Arab filmmakers and talent at an international level, by spearheading the cinema movement.

Every year, DIFF presents new and exciting cinema from the Arab world and beyond, introducing audiences to fresh new talent and original, intelligent and distinctive filmmaking. The 10th edition will be held from December 6 to 14. DIFF has also extended its platform to present cinema from countries in Asia and Africa.

It has pioneered several industry initiatives with its Dubai Film Market (DFM), which runs concurrently with the festival. DFM is the business hub of the festival and the only platform in the Middle East dedicated to the development, production and distribution of Arab films. The market is attended annually by over 1,700 delegates from more than 90 countries.
