This eight-minute scene from Prabhas-starrer Saaho cost 70 crores rupees

There are some films which come with humungous expectations and anticipation. It seems that Prabhas-starrer Saaho is surely one of those films. The film that also features Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role is raising the bar high in terms of grandeur and the latest action sequence that was shot in Abu Dhabi is another example of it.

For this climax scene, 100 fighters were flown to Abu Dhabi where Prabhas’ character fights them off. It is an action-packed sequence and is choreographed by Peng Zhang who has earlier choreographed action scenes for Hollywood films like Rush Hour 3, The Last Samurai and Hellboy II.

Sources have revealed to a leading daily, “A set resembling a ruined place was erected on a 10-acre land and special black soil was strewn over it to give it an authentic desert look. A team of 100 fighters from across the globe was hired for a larger-than-life action sequence involving Prabhas and the baddies."

We have also come to know that this entire eight-minute scene cost over 70 crore rupees for the makers but seeing the eagerness of the audience, it seems to be well worth it.

Saaho, directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series also features Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Panday and Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles. The film is announced to hit the theatres on August 15, 2019.
