When Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced Inshallah strring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt together, fans went into a tizzy with the very thought of the lead pairing and that too helmed by an acclaimed director like Bhansali. While the film is yet to go on floors, massive interest from various quarters is evident for this ambitious project.
We have it from reliable sources that the music rights of this film have already been sold for a record fee- Rs 30 crore to be precise. Music label Saregama has bagged the rights for Inshallah. To date, this is an unheard of amount for a Bollywood film's music rights.
Excitement for this film, from both the industry and the fans, also comes from the fact that Bhansali and Salman Khan are coming together yet again as lead actor, director 20 years after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Inshallah will be produced by SKF and Bhansali Productions. It is expected to hit theatres in Eid 2020.
