Sonam K Ahuja has given us some amazing hits in the last few years which include films like Raanjhanaa, Neerja, Khoobsurat and Veere Di Wedding. The actress has proven that she is versatile as she likes breaking the glass ceiling with different characters.
But Sonam also agreed that every character that she has played has left something behind for her and shared an anecdote from her talk with legendary Hollywood actor Ian McKellen. In an exclusive chat with Box Office India, she said, “I guess there is always a takeaway from each character that you play. You always learn something. Sir Ian McKellen had recently come to India and he had given a really cool talk where he spoke about how each character that he plays is like going through a sieve. And if there is something going through a sieve, there will always be a little bit that is left behind. In that way each character that I have played and I can speak for myself here, has left a slight impact on me, some sort of lesson whether it is the film or a specific character or the people that I work with.”
Well, looks like Sonam has really absorbed the words of wisdom by the senior actor.
