Fahadh Faasil has always surprised the audience with his movie choices. One doesn't have to look at his entire filmography to analyse his choices. Even if you look at his last three releases, it is proof enough that this is one actor who is not scared to experiment, is not worried about image and does justice to almost everything that is offered to him. In 2019 he had three releases, Kumbalangi Nights and Athiran in Malayalam and Super Deluxe in Tamil. Not just were the genres of these films different, but he played absolutely different characters.
And today we have the first look of his much awaited film Trance which is directed by Anwar Rasheed. As intriguing and interesting the name of the film, the first look is as much quirky and dazzling. We have Fahadh dressed in a neon outfit, putting on a show for a crowd of people. While nothing much is known about the film, the fact that it marks the return of Anwar Rasheed after seven years has been reason enough for the buzz around Trance. Rasheed last did Ustad Hotel with Dulquer Salmaan. Though Rasheed did direct one of the five films of 5 Sundarikal, this will be his first full-fledged feature in seven years.
What makes Trance all the more interesting is that it brings together Nazriya Nazim and Fahadh Faasil on screen together after five years, and also the first time since they got married. The technical crew includes names like Resul Pookutty and Amal Neerad.
Trance produced by Anwar Rasheed, Trance will hit screens in December 2019.
