This film of Leonardo DiCaprio is being turned into a TV show

There is one actor in Hollywood who is known to have a Midas touch when it comes to films. The star is known to leave a powerful impact and excel with every script that he chooses and that star is none other than Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor who has given numerous hits has a film called The Beach in his filmography opposite actress Tilda Swinton. Now, almost two decades later, the director of the film, Danny Boyle revealed that the film might just be turned into a TV series.

The Slumdog Millionaire director said to a leading news portal in the West, “The Beach may come back.” He also shared that the TV adaptation has been written by Amy Seimetz. He also spoke about the tweaks in the latest version. “(Seimetz) has taken The Beach and made a prequel for television. It’s the same character but it’s set now, so 20 years later – it’s a bit of a headf***.”

The director who has the film Yesterday coming up for release, further added, “It’s intriguing when you see it. I’ve read the first two scripts. I don’t know if they’ll have the courage to do it at FX, but you never know.”
