On the special occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, just like every other celebrity, Rishi Kapoor and Jeetendra's family welcomed Ganpati Bappa into their abode. As per tradition set by his father, Raj Kapoor, RK Studios has been keeping a Ganesh idol from the past 70 years, but from this year Rishi Kapoor has started welcoming Ganpati Bappa into his own Bandra home. Jeetendra Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor were also seen seeking blessings and gearing up to mark the festival with fervor. The Kapoors had even welcomed Bappa to their household for 5 days. But it was time for both the families to say goodbye to their Bappa on Monday evening (September 17). In the presence of their family and close friends, they bid adieu to Lord Ganesha with a lot of love and devotion and enjoyed the festivities.
While we spotted Rishi Kapoor carrying the Ganesh idol to his home, the veteran star was nowhere to be seen during the visarjan. Well, it was not just him, his son Ranbir Kapoor was also missing from the celebrations. Neetu Kapoor was seen holding the Ganesh idol. Daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani was also spotted bidding adieu to Bappa. The mother-daughter duo looked beautiful in ethnic outfits. Jeetendra looked handsome in his all-black attire, while Tusshar Kapoor and son Laksshya were seen enjoying the Ganpati visarjan. Ekta Kapoor, on the other hand, looked beautiful in an all blue casual avatar. Check out all the pictures right here.
