Happy Birthday Vicky Kaushal: Here are 5 reasons why he sets all hearts on fire

Vicky Kaushal is one of the most talented young actors in the Bollywood industry today. Since 2018, he has been on arising with films like Love Per Square Foot, Raazi, Lust Stories, Manmarziyaan and of course, the film with the highest of josh, URI: The Surgical Strike. The actor turns 31 today and while we know that he is a good actor, it has now also become evident that he has accumulated a huge female fan following. On the occasion of his birthday today, we give you 5 reasons why Vicky Kaushal is the current heartthrob of Bollywood:

His Good Looks:

All girls have always obsessed over the trifecta of tall, dark and handsome when it comes to by guys. And Vicky Kaushal has passed this trifecta test with flying colours. With his superb height, uber-photogenic demeanour and killer style, just like Pooh in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, all we can think of is his Good Looks, Good Looks and Good Looks!!

His inspiring Journey:

Vicky studied to be an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer before he became an actor. Despite having an offer letter from an IT firm, the actor had different plans. His intelligent choice of movies and theatre skills speaks volumes on how his instinct has taken him forward.

Even though the actor had a connection to the industry through his father, action director Sham Kaushal, he did not come from an affluent background. The actor said in an interview how his family struggled to reach where there today and how that struggle helps him be grounded after he has received such success in life today.

Right from delivering the line, ‘Yeh dukh khatam kaahe nahi hota?’ with extreme sadness in his eyes in the film ‘Masaan’ to ‘How’s the josh?’ in URI, his story is quite inspiring to young actors.

His choice of films and characters:

The actor opted for an unconventional beginning to his career with an Indie-film character of Deepak in Masaan. With the acclaim, he received for this character, the actor for more versatile roles with films like Raman Raghav 2.0 and Zubaan. Post these off-beat films, Kaushal opted for a few mainstream movies like the Netflix releases, Love Per Square Foot and Lust Stories, Dharma Productions’s Raazi, Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju which gave him recognition for the character of Kamli, the colourful love triangle of Manmarziyaan and the hard-hitting role of Vihaan Singh Shergill in URI.

The Relatable Hero:

Vicky Kaushal might be extremely sophisticated but he is undoubtedly a very down to earth person which according to his co-actors, makes him the ideal guy to work with. The actor is very candid when he gives interviews and interacts with the media or his fans. He doesn’t shy away from the curveball questions and makes everyone smile with his charm and wit.

The Social Media Star

The actor has become the must-be-followed person on Instagram these days. Be it fun general fun posts of things around him, him dancing and grooving to Punjabi songs, sharing updates on his films, interacting with his followers or giving fashion goals with his style, the actor is on point with all. And that coupled with being his real self on social media, makes him a necessary name on your Insta list.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal upcoming film is Shoojit Sircar’s film based Sardar Udham Singh, a yet-untitled horror film produced by Dharma Productions starring Bhumi Pednekar, Karan Johar’s directorial Takht and Aditya Dhar’s next based on Ashwatthama.
