Remember the talented writer Honey Irani, who turned director with Armaan? It seems she’s shifted permanently to Coorg in Karnataka, after her second dream project as director failed to materialise.
This was to be a remake of the Hollywood classic, The Patchwork Quilt (1913), starring Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Amrita Singh. It was to be produced by Farhan Akhtar.
But with the project stuck, Irani finally decided to migrate to cooler climes for a sabbatical. We hope absence makes her heart grow fonder and Irani returns to our filmdom.
