Hrithik Roshan made his Bollywood debut film with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, which was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan and since then there is no stop for the actor. Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai was not only loved by the audience and critics but also did very well at Box Office. Now in the recent with a leading daily, the actor opened up about how he bagged his debut film.
He said. “I felt proud to be offered a film by Rakesh Roshan, the director, rather than Rakesh Roshan, my father. He had told me time and again that he would never compromise when it came to work and that I should not expect him to make a film for me’’.
Hrithik said there was no excitement or family celebration when the film was offered to me. “Then, my father had a brainwave for a young love story which needed a new face and told me to be ready in six months. There was no excitement, no celebration, no family announcements, just a call for action with a deadline. It was serious business and I had to be at my best. That itself was my high. Also, I love contrasts, so getting to do two roles in my first film was exciting for me. I don't remember anyone doing a double role in his debut film,” he added.
On the work front, Hrithik will next be reportedly seen in Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta remake, however, the actor is yet to confirm or announce his next projects.
