Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 witnessed a remarkable growth over its first weekend at the box office. After a decent start on July 12, the film picked up well on the following days due to strong word-of-mouth among the audience. It crossed the Rs 50-crore mark in three days of its release, getting its collections to Rs 50.76 crore after its day three at the ticket counters.
As Super 30 hit the screens last Friday, it churned out Rs 11.83 crore on day one, Rs 18.19 crore on day two and Rs 20.74 crore on day three. As compared to its day one, the film jumped by 53.76 per cent on day two and as compared to day two business it saw a jump of 14.01 per cent on day three. Super 30 is expected to do well over the week.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is a story based on the life of Anand Kumar, a Patna-based mathematician who runs the 'Super 30' programme under which he teaches 30 underprivileged students every year for free and helps them to crack the IIT entrance exam.
