Jennifer Aniston turned 50 on February 11. In a recent interview with a Hollywood portal, she opened up on ageing and turning 50. "Fifty was the first time I thought, 'Well, that number’. I don't know what it is because I don't feel any different. Things aren't shutting down in any way. I feel physically incredible. So it's weird that it's all of a sudden getting telegraphed in a way that's like, 'You look amazing for your age.' I think we need to establish some etiquette around that dialogue and verbiage.”
But there is something that she does not like about ageing. "I'm not gonna lie, I don't want grey hair," she said.
Still popular as Rachel from FRIENDS, Aniston opened up about feeling powerful and sexy with age. "Women were never allowed to have power. Power feels sexy to me today, as does women's intelligence and how capable and creative they are."
On a related note, Aniston threw a birthday bash in February which was attended by her FRIENDS co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox, along with Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Robert Downey Jr and Laura Dern among others. Ex-husband Brad Pitt also attended the party and it sparked off rumours about the couple reuniting.
On the professional front, Aniston will next be seen in The Morning Show that is all set to premiere in fall 2019 on Apple TV+.
