With India's Most Wanted up for release, we look back at Arjun Kapoor's seven-year-long career: See Graph

Actor Arjun Kapoor's career has been through several ups and downs since his first release in 2012.  Over the past seven years, the actor has done films in different genres like romance, thriller, action drama and comedy. He started with a romantic film Ishaqzaade, which performed well at the box office, followed by a poor box office performer Aurangzeb, which was a thriller. His next Gunday, an action drama, was again a hit. The highest grosser of the actor's career was the romantic film 2 States, based on a book written by Chetan Bhagat with the same title. His other romantic films like Ki & Ka and Half Girlfriend were also decent performers at the ticket counters but Namaste England, which falls under the same genre, was the biggest disappointment of his career as far as the box office numbers are concerned.

The star is now coming up with another film this Friday, India's Most Wanted, which is his second thriller after Aurangzeb. This is also his first film where he doesn't have a female lead opposite him. His last thriller Aurangzeb also didn't have a female lead as such but a love affair was definitely shown as part of his story arc. Interestingly, some of Kapoor's highest as well as lowest box office grossers had popular female stars opposite him. In 2 States, Alia Bhatt was paired opposite him, the film Gunday had Priyanka Chopra, Ki & Ka had Kareena Kapoor Khan and in Half Girlfriend Shraddha Kapoor was the female lead. In his last film, Namaste England, Parineeti Chopra was paired opposite him and in Finding Fanny he had Deepika Padukone playing the female lead.

India's Most Wanted, that is releasing on May 24, is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta who gave us a Rs 100-crore plus hit last year - Raid. It's now wait and watch as to how this thriller will work out for the actor at the box office.
