John Abraham has been delighting the audience with his powerful avatars in some of his latest films. Right from Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran to Satyameva Jayate to RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter, the actor has given some amazing action thrillers and now he is all set to wow the fans once again with Batla House. The film, adapted from a true incident, has already intrigued the audience and John says that it will be a gold mine at certain locations in India.
In an exclusive chat with team Box Office India, the actor mentioned, “What works for this film is that….see people did not know about Airlift, they did not know about Parmanu or about what happened in Pokhran. Similarly, they don’t know about Batla House. And because of this, the film has the propensity to do great business especially in a place like Bombay. You guys call it the Mumbai and Gujarat circuit, the film will do very well in these places. The film is a gold mine at these locations because the people are hungry and they just want to absorb information. Of course, in North India, in places like Delhi, people will come in and have an opinion of it.”
Seeing that John Abraham is an ace producer along with being a superstar, he seems to have done his research regarding the film.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House also features Mrunal Thakur. Made under the banners of T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Sandeep Leyzell and John Abraham. The movie releases on this Independence Day.
