John Abraham has been roped in for Nikkhil Advani’s upcoming directorial venture Batla House. The thriller will be based on the 2008 L-18 Batla House encounter case. Abraham will essay the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the senior policeman who led the investigation.
This film is the second collaboration between Abraham and Advani after Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love (2007). Batla House will also see Advani collaborating with writer Ritesh Shah for the third time, after D-Day (2013) and Airlift (2016). The shoot will start in September. The film will be shot across Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Nepal. It will be produced by Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures LLP.
