Generally, film collections see a downfall in the weekdays and this trend is mostly seen through the week, with minimal difference. However, on July 10 the footfalls in the theatres were higher, especially for two films Kabir Singh and Article 15. The box office collections of both these films on Wednesday were higher than their previous day.
Kabir Singh's numbers are almost one per cent higher on day 20 as compared to day 19 and Article 15 numbers are around four per cent higher on day 13 as compared to day 12. As far as Hollywood release Spider-Man: Far From Home is concerned, there was a fall but it was just by two per cent on its seventh day as compared to its sixth day in cinemas. For all these films, if we look at the drop in the numbers from Monday to Tuesday, Kabir Singh saw a 25 per cent drop, Article 15 saw a 42 per cent drop and Spider-Man saw a drop by 34 per cent.
Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani garnered Rs 239.19 crore at the box office in 20 days of its release. Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurrana churned out Rs 46.61 crore at the box office after 13 days of its release and Spider-Man collected Rs 51.88 crore after seven days of release.
