The month of June just passed by and we had two superhits in the same month Salman Khan's Bharat and Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh, both the films performed extraordinarily at the box office and are still counting. Bharat was a holiday release while Kabir Singh was a non-holiday film.
In terms of the first week's release pattern Bharat is far ahead of Kabir Singh as the former had a 10-day week while the latter had a seven-day week. Despite this difference, the week one footfalls of Kabir Singh is 19.66 per cent higher than that of Bharat. In the table below, we have taken the week one footfalls of both films in top four cinema chains of India - PVR, Inox, Carnival and Cinepolis.

According to the footfalls data mentioned in the table above, Kabir Singh's number is 10.38 per cent higher than that of Bharat in PVR, 24.50 per cent higher in Inox, 35.97 per cent higher in Carnival and 11.36 per cent higher in Cinepolis.
