After hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and his last release, Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aaryan has become the new favourite of the crowd. The actor who has a crazy fan-following now, has signed up many big-banner films lately, the most recent one being Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions venture, Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor.
Even though his career has now taken a flight, Kartik still believes in holding on to his roots. When we spoke to him about this during an exclusive interview, the actor said that the fact that he is a Gwalior boy who lives with his family is something that has still stayed with him despite the success and fandom.
Kartik shared, “A lot has changed in real as well as reel life. As an actor, I keep working on my craft. I do a lot of workshops before and after each film, just to update myself. From my first film to now, one change in terms of acting is that I now concentrate more on the nuances of a character. At first I didn’t have the option of picking characters that I could explore, but now I am finally getting those chances. Now you can see me in different avatars, using a different kind of approach to my characters. There have been a lot of other changes also, including a lot of grooming. But the one thing that has stayed intact is my roots as a Gwalior boy who lives with his family and who talks in a particular manner.”
Well, it seems that Kartik is following the mantra of humility being the best policy!
