After backing several hit Bollywood films, PEN India LTD has entered the regional cinema space in the country. And after backing Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Gujarati films, PEN chairman Jayantilal Gada and his sons – Dhaval and Akkshay – are set to venture into Marathi cinema with their film titled, Maaza Agadbam. The film is a sequel to the 2010 film, Agadbam and looks really promising. The makers released a song recently and it raised our excitement levels.
We are all familiar with the game of ‘Atak Matak’ and the song is as fun as the game itself. Titled the same (Atak Matak), the song is based on the protagonist, Nazuka and it takes us on a journey of how the fat lady (Nazuka) regardless of being fat is very active and jumps from here and there all the time. Her love for food and the sumo wrestler in the song just add to the humour element of the song and it surely will put a smile on your face as well. Sung in the soulful voice of Anand Shinde, the song totally sticks to the theme of the story and is surely going to be a massive hit. Mandar Cholkar's lyrics have been beautifully tuned by T. Satish Chakravarthy and we have to say that they have done a commendable job. Anyway, check out the song right here and share with us your thoughts about it in the comments section below!
Directed by Trupti Bhoir, the film is produced by Jayantilal Gada, Trupti Bhoir and T Satish Chakraborty. The story revolves around the concept of wrestling and we will get to see the story of Trupti Bhoir and Subodh Bhave on October 26. Till then stay tuned to Box Office India for more updates from the world of Marathi cinema.
